Good health doesn’t need to be expensive, But it should be expansive!

Sometimes the cure is in the cupboard, sometimes in nature. Often it’s the simplest practices that are the most sustainable. Good health shouldn’t cost the earth!

YOGA TEACHER & HEALTH COACH

I have been where you are right now. I know it’s frustrating.

Hi, I’m Sarah - Yoga teacher, qualified health & nutrition coach, occasional sea dipper and “rushing woman in recovery”! I’m a final year student of nutritional therapy and have worked in the wellness industry for over 20 years. My passion lies in helping people to cultivate healthier, more conscious lifestyles so they can heal, grow and glow!

I live in Co. Wicklow, the garden of Ireland, where the sea, forests, and mountains have been both my teacher and companion on my own healing journey. These landscapes and their grounding steadiness, the ebbs and flows of the tides, and quiet trails have taught me to slow down and unplug from the busyness, the rushing and the constant striving. They continue to shape my work and inspire how I support others.

My philosophy is that life moves best at the pace of nature, unhurried, intentional and in connection with the earth’s natural rhythms. My work grows out of this love for slow living: rooted in the earth, grounded in nature, shaped by the seasons, and sprinkled with a dash of humour.

I believe that the simplest things in life are often the most healing, nourishing, and restorative. True wellbeing isn’t found in quick fixes, expensive products, or complicated routines — it’s in the everyday moments and rituals that bring us back to ourselves and help us connect to our true essence.

For me, it’s the beauty of a winter sunrise, the smell of the forest after rain, the crash of the waves on a wild and windy beach, and the comfort of a nourishing homecooked meal. These are the moments that remind us to pause, to breathe, to be grateful, and to live more slowly and consciously.

This is the heart of my work; helping others rediscover those simple joys, to create space for what truly matters, and find balance and purpose that feels natural, authentic, sustainable, and deeply nourishing.

My Story

From surviving to thriving | Where the tide turned

Like many others who work in this field, I came to health coaching through searching for solutions to my own ill health. Daily debilitating migraines, chronic muscle pain and weakness, brain fog, digestive issues and crippling fatigue led to a dual diagnosis of ME/CFS and fibromyalgia. My lack of understanding of my illness meant I had spent years in a boom and bust cycle leaving me regularly bedridden, completely depleted and often unable to wash my own hair. You can read my full story here.

When you have little surplus energy, you tend to use it wisely. For me that meant, when I could, I spent time at the coast, where I noticed i always felt better. Historically this was referred to as taking the air, where 18th century physicians prescribed convalescing by the sea for those suffering from all kinds of ailments. That simple, restorative connection with nature sparked a deep curiosity in me, was there more to healing than rest and medication? If something as gentle as the sea air, bare feet in the sand, and the sound of waves could make such a difference, how else could nature support healing? This question led me to explore natural approaches—nutrition, environment, mindset, and lifestyle—as powerful tools for recovery and resilience. I discovered that real healing came from the simplest everyday things; restorative sleep, eating wholefoods, reducing toxins, decreasing stress, regulating my nervous system, pacing and deep, purposeful rest.

My Work

I’ve come to realise that healing is a journey, not a destination. There is no straight path to health — only a meandering roadway with bumps, detours, and the occasional U-turn.

Along the way, I’ve learned self-compassion, patience, resilience, and a deep respect for the body’s rhythms. I like to think I’ve made the mistakes, so you don’t have to. By blending the insights gained from my own health challenges with over 20 years of experience in the wellness world, I curate programmes and events designed to support your health in ways that are sustainable, grounded, and real.

My coaching draws on both Eastern and Western philosophies, influenced by my trainings in yoga and kinesiology, and is built around the five elements of nature; Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether.

  • The earth element focuses on creating a solid foundation for your health. This includes eating nourishing, wholefoods, daily movement, setting healthy boundaries and building sustainable habits.

  • In this element we focus on emotional and hormonal health, rest, hydration and sleep. Water represents adaptability to the ebbs and flows of life and encompasses letting go of what we no longer need to create space for renewal.

  • In Ayurveda, agni refers to the digestive fire that transforms food into energy. In my programmes fire is represented in good digestive and metabolic health. My approach focuses on detoxification, blood sugar balancing, weight management and boosting energy levels. Fire also embodies vitality, passion and confidence. It’s about setting intentions and embracing challenges. Fire teaches us to transform obstacles into opportunities and fuel meaningful action in our lives, it’s the catalyst for change.

  • Air symbolises mental clarity, fresh perspectives and the importance of mindset. This element helps us navigate stress and overwhelm, and creates space for learning new skills, self refection and personal growth. It also encompasses the breath. Breathwork is a cornerstone of my programmes and practices and is the key to a regulated nervous system

  • Space represents expansion, stillness, and connection to the deeper layers of ourselves. It invites us to slow down, to listen, and to create room for what truly matters. Through mindfulness, meditation, and the power of the pause, Space helps us live intentionally and with greater presence.

It also extends to the spaces we inhabit. By decluttering, reducing toxins, and consciously shaping our environment with love & intention, we create healthier living spaces that nurture clarity, calm, and well-being.
